Seasonal Medicine Women Ritual: Equinox, Beltane, Solstice 2026
An invitation to gather to honour the turning of the great seasonal wheel of the earth and the medicine echoing through our bodies.
At the beautiful studio of Shala, Wānaka, we’ll gather to explore how our lives, health, and relationships – to ourselves, each other, land, animate forces – may transform through coming into alignment with the natural rhythm of life’s blueprint embedded in our menstrual cycle. We’ll connect with womb codes in ways that amplify our creative power and vitality throughout the arc of womanhood. We’ll weave together ritual, menstrual cycle awareness, matrilineal memory and indigenous European Celtic - earth based culture, herbalism, authentic relating and embodiment practices. Each circle we’ll be accompanied by a plant ally to guide us through the seasonal threshold and nourish our bodies, as we bathe in the profoundly healing act of simply sitting in circle with other women, with no agenda or expectation, other than simply being who we already are. Come drink from the wellspring of women sharing what feels real, raw, and essential to creating regenerative ways of being.

Spring Equinox / Ostara - Sunday September 27, 9.30-11am, Shala, Wānaka, 82 Brownston Street
As spring dawns upon us and the return of vibrant life buds all around, we’ll weave together at this time of equal day and equal night, the harmonious expression of light and dark. We’ll gather to sow the seeds of balance and vitality, accompanied by a handcrafted cleavers tonic from my garden. This protective herb is celebrated within folklore as a powerful lymphatic tonic that purifies the blood + skin and flushes out winter stagnation, welcoming renewal.

These circles are offered at a variety of tiers in the spirit of making this offering accessible. This is an invitation to notice your own pool of resources, social context, value system, familial support etc., and choose an amount that feels possible and meaningful. This allows the ecology of these circles to stay alive: accessible to those who need support, and sustained by those who have the means to give a little more. This pricing is intended to contribute to living culture that centres care, reciprocity, and diversity. See here for more information and why this is important to me.
